The association of teachers and lecturers has expressed great concern over the longevity of time the children spend on computers and other digital devices, excluding their school time. According to the organization, some of the children neither can study with total concentration nor remain socially active. They avoid social gatherings with friends and they like to remain almost in isolation. They want to spend most of their time online playing games or in other stuff of the digital world. One of the members of the organization says that there is news about the children who come to school but are unable to concentrate on their studies or to participate regularly in social meetings or gatherings because of their interest in social media and digital games to spend most of their time. He says that they want the education department to issue instructions for the parents about how much time their children can spend on digital devices and how they can use digital technology safely and sagacity. He says that they will emphasize the immediate measures in the meeting with the education department in this regard. He also told that they valued the advantages of digital technology but there was a lack of awareness about its possible risks and the education department should inform the parents about it.
According to a primary school teacher, the effects of the time spent in front of the screen can be seen clearly in children at the school. Many students do not take any interest in their studies and digital devices are badly damaging their comprehension skills. Children from seven to nine years old play games designed for adults.

McAfee released a report under the name of Consumer Mind-Set Survey Mobile recently in 2022. According to it, most customers are not aware of cyber security. Awareness about cyber security among customers has been stressed in this report. 59 percent of those under 19 consider mobile phones safer than computers while 49 percent of parents also trust mobile security. Most parents and children consider mobile with a password extremely safe but this is really risky and young people face extreme online risks.
